If you know what you're doing, you can take off the fan+block, clean it, apply new cooling-paste. Your CPU might not make proper contact to the coolblock+fan. At 110C you risk damaging your CPU or videocard. If temperatures reach 100C, you definitely have a problem. If they go higher, you want to look into that. If those temperatures stay at 80C or lower, there is no problem.

Make sure your machine is not overheating. If you have a no-name brand, add 20-40% to be safe. If you have an expensive PSU, add 10-20% to be safe. Use a tool to compute your wattage needs. Make sure your Power Supply (PSU) is powerful enough. And that extra power is converted into extra heat. It means the new game exposes an old problem.Įxtra load on a system means it draws extra power. Still, that does not mean the new game is broken.
